Admission And Training Terms

Admission to the faculties takes place after an interview, test control
and conclusion of a contract.

Documents required and terms of admission for undergraduates and
graduates:

Candidates must have the Secondary education, confirmed by the
Certificate, recognized for admission to the higher educational
establishments.

The following documents are required:

Personal application for admission

Notary verified Certificate of the Secondary education

Notarized copy of Birth Certificate
-
Medical Certificate with all necessary laboratory tests results,
including AIDS test
-
Copy of the national passport
-
12 personal passport size photos
Applications for admission are accepted from 1st January till 15th
August.
Interview in the Russian language (except for the English Language
Department).

Documents required and terms of admission for postgraduates:

Candidates for postgraduate training must have medical university
education with the degree of MD, confirmed by the Diploma, recognized for
admission to higher educational institutes for postgraduate courses.

Notary verified Diploma of higher medical university education
certifying the Doctor of Medicine degree (MD), including a record
performance

Notarized copy of Birth Certificate
-
Medical Certificate with all necessary tests results, including AIDS test

Copy of the national passport 12 personal passport size photos
No date limit.
Interview in the Russian language on the chosen specialty.

Study Schedule

Each academic year starts on 1st
September (at the Preparatory Course - on 1st October).
There are 2 semesters in the academic year: from September to January and
from February to June.
The first semester exams are usually held in June. The number of tests and
examinations to be taken during every academic year is strictly formulated
by the Head of the University. The student's performance on the test is
designated as "passed" or "failed" and at the
examinations as "excellent", "good",
"satisfactory", and "unsatisfactory". The second
semester exams are held in January.
All students have their vacations twice a year: summer vacation from - 3
July to 31 August and winter vacation - from 15 January to 7 February.
